Braving the Storm

Right before I arrived as Pastor at Tabernacle UMC, there was a storm that came and broke down a large tree that fell on our church sign. The sign itself was destroyed. But the Cross, standing next to the sign, was unharmed by the fallen tree.

I pray that the witness of the church will be like this cross, standing tall, in the midst of the branches and obstructions of our daily life.

Thank you for coming to find our website. We would love for you to come visit us in our physical location in Albemarle, North Carolina. Located at 132 Church Street, we are one block north of West Main Street.

Sunday School meets at 10a.

Worship is at 11a.

We celebrate Communion about once a month.
